World of Hyatt loyalists have recently been hit with some disappointing news. The partnership between Hyatt and MGM Resorts has come to an end, and Marriott is now the preferred hotel conglomerate for the Las Vegas gaming giant. Additionally, Small Luxury Hotels of the World (SLH), a program that offered World of Hyatt members luxury options in various cities worldwide, announced that it will be ending its partnership with Hyatt in favor of Hilton. This is a significant loss for Hyatt, as it allowed them to have a presence in international markets where they didn’t have their own branded hotels.
However, there is still some time to enjoy a stay at SLH properties and earn Hyatt points before the partnership with Hilton begins. While there is no clear timeline on when the partnership will officially end, World of Hyatt members can still book participating SLH Hotels through Hyatt’s booking channels.
