Act fast: Business class on Delta or Virgin Atlantic to Europe for 50,000 points one-way

There’s currently an incredible deal available to fly on Delta Air Lines for as little as 50,000 points one-way in business class, even during the busy summer travel months. However, this deal is expected to sell out quickly. The catch is that you’ll need to use Virgin Atlantic Flying Club points to book these tickets, either on Virgin’s partner Delta Air Lines or on a Virgin Atlantic-operated flight. Many options are available from the U.S., including flights to Dublin, Munich, Paris, and more.

To take advantage of this deal, you can transfer rewards from American Express Membership Rewards, Bilt Rewards, Capital One, Chase Ultimate Rewards, and Citi ThankYou Rewards to Virgin Atlantic at a 1:1 ratio. Keep in mind that transfers to Virgin may not be instant and could take up to two days. Once the points are in your Virgin Atlantic account, you can use them to book your flights.

For example, I found a flight between New York-JFK and Paris Charles de Gaulle (CDG) for just 100,000 points round trip. The taxes and fees for this flight were only $149. Similarly, flights to Germany in business class were available for as little as 50,000 miles each way, plus taxes and fees. In April, I found flights to Munich for 100,000 miles round trip with only $126 in taxes and fees.

When booking, be sure to use a credit card that earns bonus points on the taxes and fees portion of your trip to maximize your rewards.

Finding business-class flights for just 50,000 points each way to Europe on Delta Air Lines-operated flights during busy travel months is quite rare. If you have a stash of Virgin Atlantic points, now is the perfect time to use them. However, this deal is unlikely to last long, so act quickly if you want to book your flights.

In conclusion, there is currently an amazing deal available to fly on Delta Air Lines in business class for as little as 50,000 points one-way. To take advantage of this deal, you’ll need to use Virgin Atlantic Flying Club points to book the flights. Many options are available from the U.S., and transfers from various rewards programs are possible. This deal is expected to sell out quickly, so don’t wait too long to book your flights.
