Terms and Conditions of the “Just for You: Private Diamond Offer” Promotion
The “Just for You: Private Diamond Offer” is a promotional offer available to IHG One Rewards members who have been invited to participate. In order to be eligible for the offer, members must register their member number in advance. The promotion period begins on February 15, 2023, and ends on March 31, 2023.
Once registered for the promotion, members can earn IHG One Rewards Platinum Elite status by staying just eight qualifying nights at participating IHG Hotels & Resorts during the promotion period. Qualifying nights are defined as a minimum one-night stay at a participating hotel booked under a Qualifying Rate, with a room rate exceeding $30 USD (or local equivalent) for each night.
It’s important to note that completed stays prior to registration or outside of the promotion period are not included in the promotion. For example, if a member registers for the promotion on February 16, 2023, and has a qualifying stay with a check-in date of February 13, 2023, and a check-out date of February 18, 2023, they will be credited with three qualifying nights for February 15, 16, and 17, but not for February 13 or 14 as those nights were prior to the promotion period.
Participating hotels include all IHG Hotels & Resorts and Mr and Mrs Smith Properties, with the exception of Iberostar Beachfront Resorts and certain Six Senses Hotels, Resorts & Spas that do not participate in IHG One Rewards. To check if a specific Six Senses hotel is participating, it is recommended to contact the hotel directly. Stays booked using Reward Nights or Points & Cash are not eligible for the promotion. Bookings made through online travel agencies or other reservation sites such as booking.com or expedia.com also do not qualify.
If multiple members check into the same room, only one member is eligible to count the room nights towards the promotion. If a member books multiple rooms on the same night, they will only receive credit for qualifying nights for one room.
Gold Elite status and Platinum Elite status awarded under this promotion will be reflected in the member’s IHG One Rewards account after completing the required number of qualifying nights. Once a member receives a Diamond Elite status upgrade with this promotion, they can keep such status through the end of 2024. However, any elite status for the 2025 calendar year and beyond must be earned in accordance with the IHG One Rewards Club Membership Terms and Conditions or through a special promotional offering.
Participation in the IHG One Rewards program and this promotion are subject to the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions, which can be found on the IHG website. IHG reserves the right to retract Diamond Elite status granted under this promotion and withdraw any points associated with the upgraded status if it was awarded in error or if the member was not eligible to participate. Additionally, IHG reserves the right to remove a member’s points, downgrade their status, or suspend or cancel their account if fraudulent use of the promotion is detected.
In the event of any fraudulent or prohibited activity relating to a member’s account or their participation in the promotion, IHG may take appropriate actions as outlined in the IHG One Rewards Membership Terms and Conditions. IHG also reserves the right to cancel, terminate, suspend, and/or modify the promotion, as permitted by applicable law.
This exclusive offer is valid only for the original recipient who was invited to participate and cannot be transferred or conveyed to another member. Members must make any inquiries regarding this promotion by May 30, 2023.
